Powder Piling Up for Closing Day at Montana Ski Area

Montana's Red Lodge Mountain is in for one heck of a closing weekend. The ski area has received plenty of snowfall already this season, including 10 inches in the last 24 hours and a total of 18 inches in the last seven days, according to its snow report. The ski area is currently closed for the week between April 14 and 17 but will reopen on April 18 and 20 for their final operating weekend of the season. California Ski Resort Shares Success of Parking Reservations

As the season winds to a close, Palisades Tahoe is celebrating the success of its parking reservation system, which was implemented at the beginning of last season and continued through the 2024/2025 season. The system required guests to make a reservation for the resort on weekends and holidays. The free reservations opened online each Tuesday at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. Paid advance parking reservations were available, too.

This year, that included more insane skiing from sit-skier Jay Rawe. For those unfamiliar with Rawe's story, the now-Tahoe based sit-skier was injured in a BASE jumping accident in Idaho in March of 2014.
