    PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - On the Wednesday Oct. 2 edition of ‘Morning Extra’ on WJHG’s website, morning anchor Mel Zosh discussed the latest on the aftermath and response to Helene. As of Wednesday morning, more than 160 people died as a result of Helene in the Southeast. That number is expected to rise as search and rescue efforts continue. Hurricane Helene made landfall last Thursday September 26 in Taylor County, Florida as a category 4 hurricane.
