    Perhaps no field in medicine has benefitted more from the introduction of new technologies than radiology. From Roentgen’s use of cathode ray tubes to discover the X-ray, to the new technologies that enabled Marie Curie to discover radioactivity, to Godfrey Hounsfield’s invention of the CT scanner, new eras in radiology’s history have been spawned by technological innovation.
