BALTIMORE - In an effort to provide more exposure and hands-on learning opportunities for the students in the Beats Not Bullets program, the program coordinator, Mc Bravado, has launched a new monthly live performance showcase. "It's kind of a reward and an opportunity," Mc Bravado explains. "Every month, we feature a different group of students on the 'Beats Not Bullets All-Stars' lineup.

The 2025 theme of the Baltimore Met Gala was revealed in March. The theme, Timeless: The Evolution of Style, will showcase fashion, art, and culinary from different time periods. "Great things are timeless, and so it's not gonna wear out," says LaRian Finney, Executive Producer of the Baltimore Met Gala. "So if I'm gonna come with my Harlem Renaissance, if I come with something from the 60s or futuristic, it's applicable to today.

BALTIMORE - Charles Engler is a sophomore at Loyola University, and back in February, he, along with 9 other student ventures, were selected for this first-of-its-kind award. Engler created a product that uses non-invasive red light therapy for skincare. "I would say the inspiration really came from my sister. She spent so much money on skin care products and beauty products, and a lot of the time they weren't working," says Charles Engler.
