CMLL will take on the combined forces of All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor at a special event in the historic Arena México on June 17. The event will take place one night before the recently announced AEW Grand Slam Mexico on June 18, and will mark the first time AEW as a company will run shows in the country. All Elite Wrestling Dynamite has officially surpassed WCW Monday Nitro to become the longest-running weekly primetime pro wrestling television show in Turner Network history. The April 16 Spring BreakThru edition of Dynamite was episode number 289 in its run, overtaking the 288-episode run of the legendary Nitro, with WCW's flagship show running from September 1995 until March 2001.

Josh Alexander is ‘All Elite’ with the former TNA World Champion signing a deal with All Elite Wrestling. Alexander departed TNA after the expiration of his contract in mid February, and was widely tipped to join AEW almost as soon as he exited the IMPACT Zone. The legendary Satoshi Kojima has had a benign tumour removed from his head, with the multi-time world champion said to be ‘fine’ after the procedure. The news was reported by Fightful with confirmation from Major League Wrestling, with Kojima currently part of MLW’s roster. Kojima last wrestled on April 5, competing in MLW’s Battle Riot after a stint back in home promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
