There will be no peace until the Palestinians have a reputable, unified governing party and Israel has a moderate government. Neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis are currently ready for peace in that neither side has met these criteria.  Gaza is controlled by Hamas, a radical terrorist group elected by Gaza residents.

    Jack BernardGeorgia college enrollment for 2024 was up, per Gov. Brian Kemp. It is estimated that 2024 technical college enrollments increased by 9% while state colleges and universities rose 6% versus 2023 (https://www.gpb.org/news/2024/09/13/georgias-governor-says-program-ease-college-admission-boosting-enrollment ). However, it is not only important that college admissions grow. With growth, program quality must be maintained or improved.

Jim Justice, R-W.Va., said of the Department of Government Efficiency. “It is impossible to not mow past the fence in some areas ... you’re going to have to adjust.”I did not support some of Justice’s moves as governor, but I am in full agreement with Sen. Justice regarding the fact that DOGE has just gone too far, too fast. Most federal agencies are needed, and their employees are mostly competent.

    Created in 2020, the Fayette County Community Remembrance Coalition (FCCRC) is dedicated to preserving the accurate history of our county. The goal of the FCCRC is to engage in dialogues and reflections to bring understanding, healing and ultimately a stronger community for our citizens of all races and ethnicities. FCCRC expects its efforts to result in a fuller and more accurate understanding of our shared history. And that history is problematic.
