Carlo Ancelotti will become the head coach of Brazil from May 26 after ending the season and his four-year tenure with Real Madrid. Ancelotti will be in charge in time for Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Ecuador next month, and will become the first permanent foreign head coach of the national team.

Ruben Amorim has admitted that if Manchester United’s poor form continues he may have to leave the club as early as the start of next season. The Red Devils lost 2-0 to West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday and dropped into 16th in the Premier League table. As well as questioning his own future at the club, Amorim also claimed that it’s the end of the world to lose a game at home and that everyone must take all matters seriously at United.

The Women’s Championship will be called the Women’s Super League 2 from next season in what will become a major rebrand of the women’s pyramid in England. New names, emblems and a complete overhaul of the league’s current design made for an exciting and futuristic look as the leagues’ governing body, Women’s Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL), announced the news. The WPLL also announced an immediate company domain change from its current name to Women's Super League Football (WSL Football).

Arne Slot has said that the jeers directed towards Trent Alexander-Arnold weren’t a distraction to his side after Liverpool blew a two-goal lead against second-placed Arsenal in the Premier League. Despite being crowned champions against Tottenham Hotspur a week ago, it was clearly an important game for Slot judging on his squad selection. Conor Bradley started over Alexander-Arnold, who came on in the second half of the clash before being met with a mixture of boos and clapping of support.
