For eight years running, most of the media and other Democrats have spread the lies that the 2017 tax bill reduced revenue, ran up debts and deficits, and only helped the rich.
Take the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a “think tank” that claims to be non-partisan. It is funded by leftist organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and George Soros’s Open Society Foundations. It is as non-partisan as NPR and PBS.

Here, Reuters intentionally misleads the public into believing that President Trump’s policies are leading to 20,000 layoffs at UPS:
April 29 (Reuters) - United Parcel Service said on Tuesday it would slash 20,000 jobs and shut 73 facilities as part of a planned reduction in deliveries for Amazon.com, and amid U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs that are roiling global trade.
This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Illinois Democrats have supermajorities in both legislative bodies. They also control all major state offices and both U.S. Senators. They also love to tax people. There is never enough.
The Motor Fuel Tax will continue rising. In July, it will be 48¢/ gallon, up from 19¢ in 2019, a 152% increase in six years. But the Democrats say they need more. Illinois has the second highest MFT in the country, only behind California (also Democrat run).

The motor fuel tax is going to continue rising. In July, it will be up to 48 cents per gallon—up from 19 cents in 2019. That is up 152% in six years.

Since the 1960s, children have been told that they must go to college to get ahead. Vocational and manufacturing jobs have been devalued, and to facilitate attendance in traditional colleges, the government made loans and grants very easy to secure.
Colleges have taken advantage of this captive audience and continually jacked up the price of tuition much faster than inflation, especially by bulking up administrative costs.

Every day, we get another tear-jerker about how the tariffs are destroying our businesses and consumers, and every day, the supposed experts act as if the retail price should go up the amount of the tariff instead of telling the truth that it should affect only the cost, not retail prices.
We are being told how harmful the tariff is to Starbucks and other coffee buyers and sellers.

CNBC and others are having Janet Yellen to spew forth about Trump’s tariffs and trade policy. I can’t think of anyone who I would trust less, knowing what she has said and done.
Janet Yellen was president of the Federal Reserve of San Francisco from 2004 until 2010. This was during the period where the economy collapsed due to a massive overvaluation of real estate. As a regulator, why didn’t the Federal Reserve stop banks from making so many substandard loans?
