Those who attend will be able to avail of blood pressure checks and one-hour CPR and defibrillator workshops. Meanwhile, health checks will be held at local pharmacies. The event has been organised by the Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPRO), which works on behalf of Ireland’s local authorities to protect and restore good water quality in rivers, lakes and estuaries, ground and coastal water.
