We’re back after another wonderful DawgNation Cruise. It was a great experience, and I wish you could’ve been there! While on board, we announced the dates for our 2026 cruise. Uga once again led the SEC with NFL draft picks — including the Atlanta Falcons taking a former Dawg in the first round for the first time ever. The Bulldogs also added four players from the transfer portal.

Good morning DawgNation! Everyone seems to think UGA is in the market for at least one experienced edge rusher now that the transfer portal is officially open. There’s new information today that suggests that is indeed Georgia’s plan. On3’s Hayes Fawcett is reporting that former North Carolina EDGE Beau Atkinson will visit UGA — along with Ohio State — as he seeks a new college home.

I’ve been consistent in my belief that Gunner Stockton has the potential to be successful, but Georgia fans should be patient with him as he develops. I said that after Georgia lost his first start vs. Notre Dame, and I also said the same thing when he stepped in for Carson Beck and played the hero in UGA’s come-from-behind win against Texas in the SEC championship. Saturday’s G-Day scrimmage was the next step in his development.

Georgia’s arms race for elite quarterback services will continue through April and into May, when five-star target Jared Curtis plans to make his decision between UGA and Oregon. So what happens if Curtis is a Neon Nike Duck? Georgia would like turn its focus to Texas product Bowe Bentley, who appears to be headed to the SEC whether he’s in Athens next season or not. Bentley, who led Celina High School to a Texas state championship last season, will choose between LSU, Oklahoma and Georgia.

Georgia fans ought to be excited by the amount of leaders identifying themselves to the media this spring. Players like Jordan Hall, Oscar Delp and KJ Bolden spoke about their increasing roles a couple weeks ago, and more players have delivered similar messages since. That included a very interesting conversation between reporters and offensive lineman Micah Morris earlier this week.
