Modern Warfare 3 made a valiant effort to reinvigorate the old-school Call of Duty feel when it remastered the entire MW2 (2009) map pool, but it will most likely be remembered for its live-service model that shone throughout the year rather than just at the start. The remastered content didn't quite hit the mark like Activision would have hoped, but that doesn't mean the maps are useless.
