On this day four years ago, a week after the MAGA brigades stormed the Capitol, Donald Trump’s outgoing administration put Cuba on the State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list. The move irked former and current US officials — there is a broad consensus in the intelligence community that Cuba does not sponsor terrorism.
