Klay Thompson has officially shared a tribute for his pet Rocco. The Dallas Mavericks forward took to Instagram to share a slideshow tribute for his dog, who passed away earlier this week at 13. Thompson referred to Rocco as a "dynasty dog" and said that he appreciated the "13 glorious years" he had with him. Thompson has had Rocco throughout his NBA career and his furry friend experienced many high's alongside his owner.

The Philadelphia Phillies appear to have avoided the worst with slugger Bryce Harper. Paul Casella of MLB.com reported that Harper doesn't believe he is heading to the injured list but that he is "super day-to-day" as he recovers from an elbow injury he suffered when he was hit by a pitch. Harper suffered the injury on Tuesday and has not played since. Casella reported that the first baseman has not taken a swing since the injury and "likely won't do so" on Friday.

WELLESLEY – With the MIAA State Tennis Tournaments set to begin this week, several top girl’s competitors were in action for the USTA Massachusetts High School Individual Singles and Doubles Championships at Babson College. The tandem of Sienna Solorza and Emily Zhu from Newton South defeated Lincoln-Sudbury’s Lindsey Grosberg and Nina Gill 7-6, 6-3  in the doubles championship while Wellesley’s Kimmy Tai defeated Natick’s Grace Zhang 6-3, 6-3 in singles.

TAUNTON – A balanced hitting attack and a complete game from Catherine Larson led Taunton to a 8-2 softball victory over Bishop Feehan. The non-league matchup was the final of the regular season for both programs. The Tigers’ victory secured an undefeated regular season at 20-0 and improved the team’s winning streak to 44 games. “They go into it just to play every game their hardest,” Tigers coach Michelle Raposo said.

Green Bay men's basketball is hoping to stay busy this summer. The university is filing a waiver with the NCAA to appear in The Basketball Tournament, an annual summer showcase that features a $1 million prize and consists of former collegiate and professional players. The Phoenix would currently be unable to play in the tournament under NCAA rules, but head coach Doug Gottlieb noted that other programs play in overseas matchups in the offseason and that his team should be allowed to participate.
