Critic's Rating: 4.5 / 5.04.5The Hayes storyline gave me chills, while another story pissed me off. Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 21 pressed all my emotional buttons in the perfect manner. I’m not happy with how the fallout from one story will manifest, and I could have done without Charles’ funeral story, but on the whole, this was one of the strongest episodes in the medical drama in a while. The Hayes story got my attention from the beginning.

I was ridiculously excited when Tamara Tunie appeared on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5 Episode 5. I’ve always loved her as Dr. Warner and been a fan generally, but after getting used to Tunie as Beyond The Gates’ Anita Dupree, it was doubly fun for her to pick up her well-known role from Law & Order: SVU. I had a new appreciation for Tamara Tunie’s many talents afterward. The roles couldn’t be more different, and she is equally natural in both.

In case you were wondering, Elsbeth’s season finale was as silly as it looked from the commercials. Thanks to the most cartoonishly villainous judge ever, Elsbeth was behind bars with a whole season’s worth of entitled murderers, and there was even a musical interlude as she tried to figure out who had killed an obnoxious inmate.
