Nonprofit seeks to change Lynnwood policy to raise pride flags at city parksLYNNWOOD, Wash. — An LGBTQ+ nonprofit is calling out the city of Lynnwood for what it's calling discrimination by a city staffer at a pride event. The group Lynnwood Pride claims its requests to fly a pride flag at a city park were denied. Visitors to Wilcox Park will notice dozens of American flags and a POW flag. Lynnwood Pride argues pride flags should be allowed there, too, considering one is flying at city hall.

Family of missing Arlington man pleads for help, offers $10K reward for informationARLINGTON, Wash. — Nearly two months after a 21-year-old Arlington man went missing, his family is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his location. Jonathan Hoang, 21, has Autism, and his father says he has the mental state of an 8 or 9-year-old boy. Hoang was last seen at his Arlington home on March 30, and state patrol designated him as an endangered missing person.

A Burien family was left without a home on Monday after a driver plowed through their house and then into a second home. Neighbors and the family that live off South 120th Street and Military Road South said how incredible it is that no one was seriously hurt. That includes the driver who was detained and had his car pulled from the damage left behind. People in Burien watched as the sedan involved was seen dangling in the air and was moved onto a tow truck.

Gov. Bob Ferguson is backing a multi-state lawsuit to try to block President Donald Trump's tariffs. He made the announcement at a news conference on Wednesday with support from port workers and lawmakers, though the move is garnering criticism from some Republicans. “If the cranes are down, we’re working. If the cranes are up, we’re not working. And, you can see from Seattle here today, no cranes are working,” International Longshore Warehouse Union Local 19 President Mark Elverston told KOMO News.
