Community members gathered at Hospice of Warren County and Schorman Center this week for the annual opening of the Memory Garden—a seasonal tradition to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Each year, the public is invited to take part in a candlelight ceremony, and to write the names of loved ones on ribbons, tying them to spruce trees planted in the garden. Ribbons from the previous year are respectfully burned in a symbolic act of remembrance and renewal.

The Jefferson Defrees Family Center will be hosting the return of their annual Touch-A-Truck event at Betts Park in Warren, PA on Saturday, June 7th. Designed to be hands-on and family-friendly, the event allows children of all ages to explore a wide range of vehicles, including emergency response units, farm equipment, construction machinery, and more. Last year’s event featured more than 25 vehicles—among them police cruisers, fire trucks, and even monster trucks.

The Struthers Library Theatre's SLT Academy are hosting a youth production of "Disney's Mary Poppins Jr." Friday, May 30th through Sunday, June 1st. The cast features students ages 7 to 17 from across Warren County, all of whom have been part of the Academy’s training program. The performances give them an opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned in acting, singing, and stage presence.
