Crews are tackling the latest of many projects the town is working on, such as adding an indoor facility for restrooms. Mayor Kimberly Trotter said the town has long been plagued by the lack of facilities at the park and walking trail, which many frequent. “We have noticed within the last 2 to 3 years, the walking trail gets used quite a bit,” Mayor Trotter said.

It expands the High School Diploma Options (HSDO) Program through Alabama’s Community College System’s Adult Education Division.
