Another round of heavy rain and thunder will pass through Wisconsin before the end of the week with severe weather possible. Expect gusty winds, heavy downpours/flooding, and a chance of spin up tornadoes. Most of the heaviest activity will be south of Stevens Point. We had a very warm and humid day today and even warmer temperatures are in our future later this week. The next few days won't be quite as warm, but will bring rain back to the state. The highest chance of rain on Wednesday will be the southern half of the state. By the time we hit the weekend however, it is very likely that we will raise to the upper 80s, maybe even seeing some 90s across Wisconsin.

The latest forecasts indicate more rain than expected over the weekend and next week. It now seems that there is a good chance of rain each and every day until late next week. During the weekend, it wont rain all weekend long, but Saturday and Sunday will both have a chance of showers. Next week rainfall may combine with the increased energy and warmer temperatures to form a few strong thunderstorms so stay tuned.
