OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Some of you remember it vividly. On May 6, 1975, fifty years ago, a cold front moved through the state of Nebraska, creating a squall line of severe weather. A strong tornado formed over what was then Southwest Omaha and moved to the to the northeast, towards the middle of the city in the late afternoon hours.
