Journalism has been making a lot of headlines over the last year – the racehorse, that is. “From the start, he’s been very good,” said Michael McCarthy, who trains the thoroughbred. “He came to us July of ’24, and right off the bat, we could tell that he was not like your ordinary 2-year-old racehorse.”After finishing third in his first race as a 2-year-old at Santa Anita, the colt went on to win a Maiden Special Weight race at Del Mar and the Los Alamitos Futurity.
