According to the World Health Organization it can lead to severe pelvis pain and make it harder for women to get pregnant. The diagnosis can often be delayed because many women will present symptoms that mimic other conditions.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Health experts say we’re in the midst of the worst flu season we’ve seen nationwide in the last ten years. The CDC estimates that there have been at least 24 million illnesses, 310,000 hospitalizations, and 13,000 deaths from flu so far this season. Ten influenza-associated deaths were reported the week of February 1, for a total of 57 pediatric deaths this season.
