Users of Apple’s News+ subscription service are getting a new perk when iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 launch–and it could be setting the stage for another product further down the pipeline. Apple announced Friday Apple News+ Food, a new section to the News app dedicated to recipes, restaurant reviews, and other food-related topics. Company officials claim that the new section includes tens of thousands of recipes with more added daily.

Apple Vision Pro is set to be the first new platform to receive Apple Intelligence features post-launch, Apple announced Friday. In a press release, company officials confirmed that visionOS 2.4 would contain some of the features from the company’s buzzy AI suite, including Writing Tools, Image Playground, and Genmoji. Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman first hinted at this announcement Saturday.

Apple Card Savings account users found out Wednesday night that the interest rates on their accounts have fallen once again. A notification sent to users in the Wallet app reads that the new annual percentage yield (APY) is 3.9%, marking the first time the interest rate has dr0pped to less than four percent. APY represents the percentage of your balance you will make back in interest in one year.

Apple has quietly made official an iCloud Passwords extension for Mozilla’s Firefox browser — but only for macOS users. As initially spotted by MacRumors, Apple is now distributing an extension on the official Mozilla add-ons site. The store page reads that it allows users to securely access and fill in their passwords stored in iCloud to webpages accessed in Firefox. It also allows users to create and save new passwords as well as generate verification codes.

She was mostly talking about cars or appliances, but she applied it to my lifelong love of technology, too.
