MethodsStudy design and populationsThe BITTOC 2021 online survey was distributed over a 6-month period (31 August 2021 to 1 March 2022) through social media and relevant perinatal websites and communities. Paid Facebook advertisements were used along with national parenting websites, the Australian Breastfeeding Association, Playgroup Australia, multicultural groups and over 200 dissemination platforms to reach as many women as possible.
