Shein is facing claims that it committed customs and VAT fraud while flying parcels from China to the UK. In documents seen by The Telegraph, Shein has been accused of “manipulating customs declarations for VAT evasion”. Customs agent IT Way Transgroup Clearance says it acted for Shein between 2021 and 2024, and lodged the claim alongside transportation service Orange Transgroup last month.
