Jake A. Laband

Jake Laband counsels clients in a broad range of international trade and national security matters. His practice includes advising on sanctions administered by the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and export controls administered by the US Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). He also focuses on international economic regulation and trade policy matters including trade remedies and international agreements. Mr. Laband brings to his practice nearly a decade of experience working in Beijing, China, where he advised American companies on Chinese government and regulatory affairs and US-China relations. While in law school, Mr. Laband interned at the Office of the Chief Counsel for Industry and Security within the Department of Commerce. Source
