West Australian motorists will get a break at the bowser just in time for the Easter long weekend, in a silver lining to Donald Trump’s trade war. Petrol prices are more than 20¢ cheaper now than in the days leading up to Easter last year. Experts say we can expect the trend at the pump to continue for another fortnight, taking in the Anzac Day weekend, too. Most fuel stations in Perth work on a weekly cycle with Tuesday being the cheapest and Wednesday the most expensive.

Police are desperately trying to find a boy who may have gone to Perth Airport. Justin Bottrell is believed to have left his home in Leederville about 4am on Wednesday. Police believe that the 12-year-old might have tried to make his way to the domestic terminal at Perth Airport. Justin is described as 170cm tall with a medium build. It is not known what he is wearing but he typically wears shorts and a t-shirt.
