    Danny Karnik - GTAA It was not the best week for the Georgia Tech in the two base sports, baseball extending their losing streak to seven games before a Kent Schmidt walkoff to get back in the win column on Sunday against Virginia. Softball faced a gauntlet, playing #24 Georgia before a series against #19 Clemson, dropping all four games in that stretch. The good news: we still have Georgia Tech projected to make the NCAA Tournament field in both sports.

Baseball is almost surely a lock at this point. Softball will need some more wins down the stretch to really lock in their position, but they look good as of now.
