TAMPA, Fla. – John Alberto Stolard, 48, of Wesley Chapel, has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for his role in a conspiracy to commit wire fraud involving fraudulent quit claim deeds. U.S. District Judge Mary S. Scriven handed down the sentence and ordered Stolard to forfeit $747,388.30. Stolard had previously pleaded guilty to the charge on October 3, 2024.

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in locating Jennifer Johns, a 45-year-old woman who has been reported missing. Johns was last seen on May 1st in the US 19 area of New Port Richey. Deputies say she is approximately 5’5″ tall and weighs around 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about Jennifer Johns’ whereabouts to come forward.

SEFFNER, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of stealing an Xbox from a local thrift store last week. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the theft occurred on Friday, May 9, 2025, shortly after 1 p.m. The suspect reportedly entered the Hidden Treasures Thrift Store, located on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Seffner, and took an Xbox without paying.

A Florida jury has found Iris Williams guilty on multiple charges, including two counts of Second-Degree Murder, Kidnapping with a Firearm, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. State Attorney Melissa Nelson announced the verdict, which stems from the deaths of Charles Watkins and Thomas Harris, as well as the kidnapping of their elderly mother, in October 2023. An Illinois woman was sentenced Friday to 72 months in federal prison for attempting to arrange a murder-for-hire using ‘interstate communications’ and financial services. Autumn Jeanine Carianna Markley, 30, Coal Valley, received the sentence in a federal court connected to the Southern District of Iowa. According to public court documents, while residing in Colorado in late 2023, Markley attempted to facilitate the plot by wiring money through Western Union.
