YAKIMA – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos softball team watched its season end with a 6-4 loss, Friday, May 24, in the opening round of the state tournament at the Gateway Sports Complex. After taking an early lead in the game, the score was tied at two until late. Warden would score in the bottom of the sixth inning to control the game.

RITZVILLE – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos enacted revenge on the Asotin Panthers by winning a winner-to-state game 16-2, advancing the Broncos to state. The district tournament was played on Tuesday, May 14, in Spokane at Dwight Merkel Complex. The first game for the Broncos was against Asotin, where the Broncos took the 8-5 victory, knocking Asotin to the losers bracket. The Broncos out-hit the Panthers 12-6 in the game, leading to their three-run differential.

COLFAX-The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos saw their season slip away with a 12-11 loss against the Kettle Falls Bulldogs on Thursday, May 2. The Broncos held an early lead in the game before the Bulldogs came crawling back to tie the game late. In the final inning, the Broncos were ahead by a run, then, disaster struck.

PULLMAN – With the early spring weather unkind, many teams have canceled sporting events in Whitman County. The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos and the Colfax Bulldogs were more fortunate Tuesday, March 22 - their double-header was moved to Bailey-Brayton Field at Washington State University. The field is entirely turf, so baseball can be played when grass fields are too muddy. Unfortunately for the Broncos, the Bulldogs dominated both games.

SPOKANE VALLEY – The Colfax Bulldogs girls, scoring double-digit points every quarter, held off the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos in their Northeast 2B district opening basketball game Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the field house at West Valley High School. The Bulldogs had a comfortable, 62-41, win in the district semifinals game. The last time the Bulldogs and Broncos squared off, Colfax won on its home court, 45-32.
