The Indiana Pacers are down 3-2 in the NBA Finals after a Game 5 loss, and any path to a comeback may have just gotten a whole lot harder. It was announced via Shams Charania on X that Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton had suffered a right calf strain in the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder and was going to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. The NBA Finals are in full swing, and the Indiana Pacers find themselves in a tough fight against the Oklahoma City Thunder with the series tied 2-2 heading into Game 5. The NBA Finals are coming to Indianapolis with the series tied 1-1 after the Pacers got blown out in Game 2 by the Oklahoma City Thunder. There’s no doubt that the Pacers’ performance in Game 2 was disappointing, and that they, and specifically Tyrese Haliburton, must play a whole lot better if they’re going to have a chance to pull off the series upset.
