I've been using the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS Lite Edition again recently, mainly because I wanted a tiny megazoom camera to carry as a sidearm on a couple of trips. I'm so used to the current crop of compacts with their standard zoom ranges, that I forgot just what a monster the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS Lite Edition is. Its 24-960mm lens is an absolute beast! This camera is more than just a crazy zoom range and a tiny body, though.

In a curious interview, the head of Leica seemed to take a swipe at the Sigma BF camera – and seemingly taking a jab at APS-C sensor technology at the same time. During a sitdown with the Phoblographer, Dr Andreas Kaufmann – chairman of Leica's supervisory board, and the man who rescued the company from the brink of bankruptcy 20 years ago – made what felt like some pretty pointed remarks about his L-Mount Alliance partner, and made clear that Leica is done with APS-C.

Ringside photographers are usually there to capture the action. But a rookie WWE freelancer quickly became part of the action, when Randy Savage chased him around the ring after telling him not to take photographs of his real-life wife!To some, he was the "Snap into a Slim Jim!" guy. To others, he was "Bone Saw McGraw" from the 2002 Spider-Man movie. But above all, Randy Savage was the "Macho Man" – WWE superstar, professional wrestling legend… and terrorizer of one poor ringside photographer.

Look at the specs difference between the Ricoh GR IV vs GR III and you'll be hard pushed to find any. Any of great significance, at least. I was super excited at the official confirmation that a GR IV is on the way, as someone who enjoyed using the Ricoh GR III when it launched back in 2019. But six years is a lifetime in camera tech terms – and when I compare the Ricoh GR IV vs GR III, I don't see six years of difference, let alone progress.

The Sony ZV-E10 was definitely a needle-mover when it launched in 2021. While ostensibly a video and vlogging camera (hence the "V" in its name), and certainly boasting filming-first features, for many people it was a cheaper alternative to cameras like the Sony A6100 and A6400. Since then, though, the competition for the Sony ZV-E10 has been fierce.
