It must feel to some WNBA fans like the arrival of Caitlin Clark was written in the stars. On the eve of the 2025 WNBA draft, we can't help but think back to this time a year ago, when Clark was selected first overall by the Indiana Fever and subsequently crafted the greatest rookie season in league history, shattering records on the court while the WNBA reached stratospheric heights off it. What will Clark do for an encore?

There’s no shortage of Masters trivia floating around the golf world — but most of it barely scratches the surface. Sure, you know Jack Nicklaus has the most green jackets and that Tiger Woods won his first in ’97 by a mile. But if you really want to flex your Augusta IQ, you’ve got to go deeper: into obscure firsts, strange scoring feats, and the kinds of records that never make the CBS broadcast. This is the kind of Masters trivia that separates the contenders from the casuals.

The Masters is golf’s most sacred institution — a place where cell phones are banned, commercials are politely whispered into your soul, and the sandwiches cost less than a Gatorade at your kid’s soccer game. And yet ... even perfection, apparently, can use a little tweaking. So we asked: If you could fix The Masters, what would you change? Would fans take away a winner's lifetime exemption?

Skip to main content Scottie Scheffler might be the richest man in golf (or at least among the leaders), but when it comes to the annual Masters Dinner, the defending tournament champion is keeping things simple. Scheffler's 2025 Masters menu is the cheapest per plate of any Champion's Dinner since 2015, coming in at an average of just $108 per plate.

I told a colleague this week that WM41 would be the "Empire Strikes Back" to WM40's "Star Wars", and I was right. It was heavy on heel Ws. But both men's title matches had horrible endings. Bayley got hosed. The Night 1 men's tag match was a glorified Raw time-killer. Etc. Etc.

LOTS of ads. A bunch of pointless celebrity sightings. And mostly mid matches, low-lighted by two genuinely bad title matches. WWE has sold all the way out, and it's gross. This wasn't the worst WM ever, but it was easily the most disappointing.
