The star was a standout college wrestler winning two national titles, and becoming a three-time NCAA Division I All-American. Upon leaving college he won the World Championships in 1995 and went on to win an Olympic gold medal in Atlanta a year later with a broken neck.

After failing to reclaim the Intercontinental Title he lost to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam, Sami Zayn set his sights on a bigger prize. Triple H has confirmed changes are on the way for SummerSlam. It was announced in May that WWE SummerSlam will take place across two nights in 2026. The first-ever SummerSlam was held back in 1988, and 2026 will mark the first time it will be held on two consecutive nights. The move comes after WrestleMania shifted to two nights in 2020, while there’s been a great deal of speculation that the Royal Rumble could soon follow suit.

Tony Khan says fans won’t see an AEW star in action again in 2024. On the July 13th episode of Collision, Dalton Castle took on Roderick Strong as the pair battled to become the number one contender for the Ring of Honor World Title. In the end, it was Strong who got the win, however, the finish of the bout saw Castle knocked unconscious, and confusion hit the ring. The winning pin-fall came after Strong hit Castle with his jumping knee, but that wasn’t the plan.
