TIOGA — A childcare provider has been charged with child abuse after an infant left in her care suffered severe injuries a month ago. SIDNEY — As part of a plea agreement, Kyle Lee Severson was re-sentenced to 30 years in prison, with 15 years suspended, and received credit for almost six years he has served since he was arrested in 2019 for the death of a Sidney man. Severson was sentenced by Montana District Court Judge Olivia Rieger at the Richland County Law & Justice Center shortly after noon on Friday (May 2) as part of a plea agreement entered in March.

WILLISTON — "I'm going to jail, watch this."These were the words Brendan Sean Faulk, 34, of Williston, reportedly said to a woman moments before physically assaulting her last weekend—and he did indeed to go jail. Faulk was charged with domestic violence–serious bodily injury, a Class C felony. He is also in custody at the Williams County Correctional Facility with a $15,000 bond.
