The dramatic incident, on Scott Hall Road, was reported shortly after 1am yesterday (April 14) and has prompted a police investigation. It saw suspects target two cars parked along the road, as well as another parked in a driveway.

Joel Humberstone was caught by cops last year when he targeted a youngster walking to school. And in a later incident that occurred as he was headed to a hearing, the 27-year-old pulled out his phone and repeated the offence against a teenager.

The incident on Briggate was reported shortly before 5am on Sunday morning (April 13) and prompted a significant police presence. The incident, on Church Street in Boston Spa, was reported shortly after 8pm last night (April 13). West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service sent five crews to the scene. The service confirmed that the blaze affected the ground floor of the building, as crews used large jets to fight the flames.

Here are five of the cats and dogs up for adoption at the RSPCA’s Wakefield and District branch in Leeds. The charity homes the animals, some of which arrived as they could no longer be cared for by their previous owner, at a centre in East Ardsley. Regardless of how they end up there, the animals are cared for until a new home can be found. The RSPCA also offers advice to people who already own pets but may be struggling to cope with the cost of food or healthcare.
