James Forrest | 20:00 12/05/25 The problem with a bluff is if someone calls it. This has been well known by everyone who’s ever tried to bluff and failed. But it’s also been known by everyone who’s ever used bluffing as part of basic strategy. And bluffing has been a part of basic strategy since time immemorial. It’s a high-risk move though.

Yesterday, Aberdeen were at Ibrox, and they were woeful. I’m surprised to have read at the weekend that they’ve sold all their tickets for the Scottish Cup Final. Their fans must really be looking forward to the occasion. But if their team turns up against us and plays the way they did yesterday, it won’t be four. It won’t be five. It won’t be six. It’ll make the semi-final in the League Cup look like a close game.

James Forrest | 13:00 12/05/25 So yesterday, someone pointed me in the direction of an article in The Sunday Mail. I won’t tell you who the writer was — I’m fairly sure you can guess that on your own. It was a piece of outright trash from the guy. An article so bad that, to paraphrase Orwell, “if it were possible for an article to give off a physical stench then this one would.” Yeah, it was genuinely that bad.

Sometimes I just have to get stuff out of my system. Here goes. So yesterday, Barry Ferguson got a win at home as the Ibrox boss. It doesn’t affect us in any significant way; in fact, if you wanted to find some impact at all it’s in that Aberdeen were well and truly humbled and look woefully short for a team that has to come to Hampden in a fortnight and stop our treble juggernaut.

James Forrest | 20:00 11/05/25 For the last two or three years, Celtic fans have enjoyed a title party in central Glasgow, in the Trongate area. These are traditionally regarded as areas full of Celtic bars, and even the Merchant City around Candleriggs has long been seen as leaning Celtic. I know this because I drink there a lot myself. Now, every one of those years, there’s been a lot of hyperbole in the aftermath of the title party.

Wild, remote and absolutely breathtaking—walking the Sutherland Trail was an adventure like no other. 🏔️🌿 With barely a soul in sight, this hidden gem of the Scottish Highlands was a total delight. 🌊✨ - adventuring with @ZOLEOinc https://t.co/ImFLQFYrjb

630 miles and approx 87 pasties later… I conquered the South West Coast Path! 🥾🌊🎉. Along the way, I: 🏕️ Considered moving into a coastal cave (prime sea views, no WiFi). 🐍 Nearly pitched my tent in an adder sanctuary 🦆 Fought seagulls for my lunch every day @ZOLEOinc https://t.co/IbR7yfA3im
