I'm a huge fan of the Little Tail Bronx series; so it's probably worth mentioning that although I was excited when Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 was announced, part of me was at least a little bit concerned. As much as I enjoyed the original, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 was almost infamously a rather iterative sequel. While that was all well and good at the time, I was concerned that the same would hold true for Fuga 3. A concern that has turned out to be quite well founded.

4 years ago, in May 2021, Zadnor was added to Final Fantasy XIV with the arrival of patch 5.55. This was the last time the game saw a new Field Operations or "Exploration Zone" content - until now. While Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers all received post-launch updates that included such zones to help bolster what each expansion offered at the endgame, Endwalker lacked such a zone.

Out of Sight's “second-person” perspective proves it's already a great fit for VR, even with more polish to come. We all know VR is at its best when you can immerse yourself in the experience, but sometimes immersion doesn't necessarily mean taking on the role of the protagonist. Occasionally, the games that take advantage of the player as an observer in the world can help ground things even more than if we see things through the character's eyes.

If, like me, you only took a cursory glance at Persona 5: The Phantom X - you probably don't quite know what it is. It's a mobile and PC, free-to-play gacha game of course; but what actually is it? Who's the new protagonist, and how does he tie into Joker and the original crew? Is it merely a spin off, or something a bit more? It's a bit more complicated than that. Advertisement.

Ever since it was announced, I'd say it's been a pretty common refrain to see fans of the series wonder exactly what Square Enix would be delivering with Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake. While Dragon Quest III's remake was excellent, to say that the original two games are basic is an understatement. What changes would be made; with all the noise about how technically the games follow-up on III in the timeline, would we see an effort to tie it into their sequel? Advertisement.
