WARRINGTON Wolves are off to Wembley once again after a brilliant 21-14 win over Leigh Leopards in the Challenge Cup semi-final. The sun was shining down on the Wolves at the Totally Wicked Stadium as the returning Marc Sneyd helped lead them to victory, with Paul Vaughan and Matt Dufty also immense for Sam Burgessโ side, who will now face Hull KR in the final on June 7.

INJURY-plagued Warrington Wolves will be out to avoid another mauling by Wigan Warriors at a rugby league showcase event. The Wolves were heavily beating when they last faced the Warriors going down 48-24 in the historic meeting between the two sides in Las Vegas at the start of March. They meet the reigning Super League champions again at Magic Weekend on Sunday evening plagued by a number of injuries to key players.

Another week where we, and no doubt Widnes coach Allan Coleman, wait with baited breath to see what players dual-registration partners Warrington might afford the Vikings with this weekend. With no Warrington reserves match scheduled, there may be at least one or two Wolves fringe players that could provide some much needed volume to the Widnes squad for a tricky trip to Hunslet, who were only narrowly beaten on the same pitch earlier in the season in the 1895 Cup.

Widnes forward Ryan Lannon looks to have played his last game for the club after being missing from training for several weeks. Lannon, 29, last featured for the Vikings in the previous game at York at the start of April, but he has missed the three games since with speculation online linking him to a move to Oldham. He is out of contract at the end of the year, and so is free to speak to other clubs about his future.
