Since the parliamentary elections on October 26, there have been ongoing protests in Georgia's capital Tbilisi. According to the electoral commission, the right-wing conservative Georgian Dream (KO) party won the election with 53.9 percent of the vote, but this is being disputed by opposition members. They have subsequently boycotted parliamentary sessions together with the pro-Western President Salome Zurabishvili (Georgia's Way) and are demanding a review of the election process.
