The leopard, driven by primal hunger, follows its prey through the window not realizing it’s a trap. What should have been a quick, brutal encounter instead becomes a twelve-hour stalemate. The dog, terrified, remains silent in one corner, while the leopard, strangely passive, retreats to another.

This is the final part of this seriesand follows on from part 1 and part 2. Now that we have a functional API endpoint, the next step is to connect up the front-end and get it working end to end. Get Image from the APIBefore we start this, we’ll need to do a little bit more work in the API since being able to display the image is probably a pre-prequisite for uploading an image. I’ve recently been having a lot of fun learning a new-to-me development stack after a few years in a hands-off management role and it’s great to be finally getting a little bit productive in it. So my latest task was to figure out how to implement image uploads in this new stack. The general approach I decided to take was to start work on the front-end UI, move on to API implementation and then marry the two together once each individual part was working correctly.
