Most of it was designed by my wife and our three girls. It became the perfect place to live.

Former President Jimmy Carter recently passed away at the age of 100. He had lived a long and productive life. And his death brought back some very fond memories. My wife Sheila and I had a personal relationship with Carter. She grew up in Americus, Georgia, which is in Sumter County. Plains, Georgia, Carter’s hometown, is also in Sumter County. Sheila’s father and Carter had several business dealings with each other. And they served together on the board of directors of several local companies.
