The Arizona Diamondbacks continued extending key players on Wednesday. After completing a five-year deal with right-hander Brandon Pfaadt, the D’backs extended a key piece of their offense. They agreed to a six-year extension with All-Star second baseman Ketel Marte. The deal is said to be worth $116 million. Marte, 31, is coming off of an MVP-caliber season for the Snakes. He hit .292 with 36 home runs while driving in 106 runs.
