    Adrianna Smith, Maine — Sr., ForwardAdrianna Smith was arguably the best player in the America East last season. During her 2023-24 campaign, she started all 34 games for the Black Bears, averaging 16.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, earning her a spot on the AE conference first team. Smith also set a school record with 22 double-doubles and six games with over 14 rebounds. A two-time all-conference selection, she was also named AE Player of the Year as a sophomore.

After transferring from Rider University in 2022, Benson saw a jump in his success on the court in his first year at BU, setting career highs in points, rebounds and assists. “The key is playing the right way, letting my shots come organically and not forcing anything,” Benson said.

    The Binghamton men’s and women’s swim and dive teams continued the fall campaign by making waves at the Bucknell Invitational this past weekend. While there was no team scoring, the invitational featured strong times across several events led by senior Elijah Lanfear, who swept his individual events to lead Binghamton with eight victories in the first three meets of the season. Lanfear continued his strong start to the season, marking two straight weeks as the Bearcats’ top performer.
