First, love the Lord “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Part two is “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mt 22:34–40). With all of that loving, there’s a nice little jewel at the very end. Jesus assures and commands we love ourselves. And that is not an unimportant emphasis.

They are for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s former defence minister, Yoav Gallant, and, rather incongruously, Hamas figure Mohammed Deif.
