    For decades, farmers have been paid not to plant all of their fields because they produce more food than we can consume. Still, 70% of Americans are either obese (45.6% of adults) or overweight (kids in training for obesity). It seems we either need to shoot for a higher obesity rate or send more of our food to countries with a high rate of malnutrition. Sweet and sour chicken is more sweet and sour than it is chicken. Fast food kids meals are adult size meals in Europe.

    It’s expensive to live in this nation. More than just Californians pay through the nose for the right to live in the land of the not so free. This has resulted in a nation controlled by corporate greed that shoves a lifestyle designed to keep 95% of the nation in debt, enslaved to jobs they dread, believing their problems are the results of fringe groups. The only fringe group destroying this nation are the wealthiest of the wealthy. Let’s look at what we are being sold.

    We have all heard the saying. It’s used too frequently, mostly by those who don’t have much to say. “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” I have no idea who said it. My guess is it was some guy named Twain or Rogers since they get quoted a lot by people with little to say.

    From The Guardian: The son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent killed himself after suffering adverse side-effects from antidepressants prescribed by a Buckingham Palace doctor, an inquest has found. Thomas Kingston, 45, whose marriage to Lady Gabriella at Windsor Castle in 2019 was attended by the late Queen, died from a self-inflicted wound, the senior coroner for Gloucestershire concluded. The financier was found dead at his parents’ home in the Cotswolds in February.

Instead, he honed in on the ignorance of younger male voters while tapping into angry whites who have no recall of their participation in the last decent social and political revolution we had, the 1960s.
