HMRC has started dispatching letters to taxi drivers and other self-employed individuals who may be impacted by the significant Making Tax Digital (MTD) overhaul. Taxi drivers with annual earnings exceeding £50,000 will be among the first in the industry to face the new digital tax reporting regulations.
