A Yorkshire transport museum that was under threat of eviction in 2022 has managed to buy its premises – and now there’s room for even more cars. The Keighley Bus Museum Trust (KBMT) accommodates around 20 classic vehicles, including lorries and the purchase has been financed by a legacy, donations and a commercial loan. Hampson Auctions will be offering a low-mileage 1991 Lada Riva guided at £4-6k at its Classic and Performance Car Auction at Bolesworth Castle on 17 March. Hampson’s managing director, Zach Hamilton, said: ‘This 1300 is in highly original condition; it’s a time-warp example with just 12,000 warranted miles from new.’The vendor bought it from the third owner’s grandson – who had put it into storage seven years ago – in 2021.
