    The EE BAFTA Film Awards happened this evening at the Royal Festival Hall in London, hosted once more by David Tennant. Poking fun at Trump during his monologue, Tennant also offered the usual celebrity gags and had several stars singing part of The Proclaimers' "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" (though no cameo from Peter Mullan, which will no doubt disappoint Empire Podcast fans).

    Good news today for everyone who enjoyed Rapman's Netflix story of powered people, Supacell. The streaming service has announced that the show has landed a second season renewal. The series, for those who didn't check it out, follows a seemingly ordinary South London family and some other characters dealing with sickle cell disease.

    There are many reasons why Slow Horses has become one of the most popular series on Apple TV+. The compelling adaptations of Mick Herron's best-selling, grungy, street-level spy novels. The witty dialogue from showrunner Will Smith and his team. And, possibly most of all, the foul-mouthed (and foul-bodied) lead performance from Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb.
