Factors contributing to KT gaps in DCMThere are several proposed barriers to rapid dissemination of DCM knowledge:Terminology—First proposed in 2015,35 the umbrella term of DCM is still not universal.36 ‘CSM’ is the most commonly used term, but this has an inconsistent definition.36 The use of variable terminology may therefore impede KT.
