We all thought we'd already seen the final major update for Cyberpunk 2077. Version 2.2 was meant to be the cherry on top of CD Projekt Red's cake, but now the studio's trying to flambé the cherry, drizzle over some jus, and put some gold leaf on it. The surprise Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update was set to drop later this week, and even though its contents are a mystery, it's set to be a big one.

Let's cut to the chase - if you live and breathe soulslikes, you're almost certainly going to have a good time with Wuchang Fallen Feathers, which boasts loads of weapons, engaging combat, big bosses, and a vast world to explore. But to make an impression in this increasingly crowded genre and be considered one of the greats, you need to do more than nail the essentials.

Supermassive's Until Dawn is one of my all-time favorite horror games, despite my… jumpy… disposition. I also have an affinity for anything based in space. Imagine my excitement, then, when Supermassive announced Directive 8020, its latest cinematic, choice-driven horror title, this time set aboard a spaceship.

While not reveling in quite the same stratospheric reception that the likes of Repo and Schedule 1 recently enjoyed, new indie co-op game Peak is enjoying a surprisingly huge launch. Shifting over 100,000 copies in a day and sitting on an impressive Steam user rating, it gives me similar vibes to the chaotic clambering and platforming of Chained Together - but incredibly, it was never originally in its developer's long-term plans.

We're now a couple of weeks into Dune Awakening's life, and the MMO is still hard at work refining its experience and (metaphorically speaking) shaking sand out of all the places it shouldn't be. However, one frustrating occurrence that has been almost impossible to prevent is getting squished by kamikaze ornithopter pilots, but the new Dune Awakening update that just dropped finally takes a swipe at it.

I recently got the chance to visit Remedy over in Finland to try out FBC Firebreak - an eccentric, accessible, yet challenging co-op shooter that I can't wait to play again. https://t.co/OqQEtkCz2T

I've played a couple of hours of Doom The Dark Ages, which makes loads of improvements over Doom Eternal and delivers more grounded, punchy combat. I can't wait to play more, but a couple of its new innovations still need to win me over. https://t.co/JANf0qWm1A https://t.co/WyAFthHFz9

A few weeks ago I got to play Prologue, the new survival game from the creator of PUBG. It's simple yet unforgiving, janky yet beautiful, and packed with some impressive tech that can create millions of unique maps. It's wild. https://t.co/R9eT0zWXaQ
